• All passport applicants are required to be physically present on the appointment date and venue specified by NCAE.
• 1% of the applicants for passport renewal have had some issues with the data capture in the past and were advised by the Consulate to travel to Ottawa for a recapture. In the event of this, the NCAE will not be responsible for challenges that may occur with data capture or Canada Post (delivery) issues.
NCAE is able to deliver our programs at cost effective rates to participants mostly from the precious time contributions of our dedicated volunteers. We will need volunteers for all the days that we will execute this program, please complete the NCAE Volunteers Form.
One of the drivers for embarking on this initiative is to provide supports to Nigerians in Edmonton and save people the stress and cost incurred traveling to Ottawa with their families to obtain passports. Past interventions facilitated by the NCAE saved our community a lot of funds, and it is our expectation that this initiative would continue to do that.
