DESCRIPTION:Why Am I Broke? Practical Money Conversations for Youth\n\n\n\nMoney can be one of the most challenging topics for young people to navigate. Between school\, work\, social pressures\, and future goals\, many youth find themselves asking the same question: “Where is all my money going?” \n\n\n\nTo help answer that question\, the Nigerian Canadian Association of Edmonton (NCAE)\, through its Youth & Children Development Committee\, is partnering with The Financial Empowerment Initiative (FEI) to host a virtual financial literacy seminar for youth and young adults. \n\n\n\nTaking place on Thursday\, July 23\, 2026\, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM (MST)\, this interactive session is designed for youth aged 16 to 25 years who want to develop healthier financial habits and gain practical money management skills. \n\n\n\nParticipants will learn about budgeting\, saving\, financial goal setting\, and strategies for making smarter financial decisions.
