Heritage Festival
July 31 – August 3 MDT

The Nigerian Canadian Association of Edmonton (NCAE) is proud to participate in the 2026 Heritage Festival, one of Edmonton’s most celebrated cultural events. This annual festival brings together communities from around the world to share their traditions, food, music, dance, and stories, creating a vibrant celebration of diversity and inclusion.
From August 1–3, 2026, visitors are invited to experience the rich culture and heritage of Nigeria at Hawrelak Park. The NCAE pavilion will showcase the beauty, creativity, and spirit of Nigeria through cultural performances, traditional attire, authentic cuisine, music, art, and community engagement activities.
The Heritage Festival provides a unique opportunity for Edmontonians and visitors alike to learn about Nigeria’s diverse cultures and traditions while fostering connections across communities. Whether you are discovering Nigerian culture for the first time or reconnecting with familiar traditions, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
Join us as we celebrate our heritage, share our stories, and contribute to the multicultural fabric that makes Edmonton such a welcoming and vibrant city.
